It’s true that Chatham, New Providence, and the surrounding communities have no shortage of mechanics’ shops, but Douglas Volkswagen of Summit is special. When you bring your Volkswagen in for regular service, you’re making an investment into its quality and longevity, and we’re dedicated to making sure you get the most out of that investment. We use OEM and VW-approved parts and accessories for your service, and our technicians have been trained and certified by the factory. We are even hiring service technicians for our service center and for our body shop. This means that they’re uniquely qualified to handle your VW. Our technicians will drain the old oil from your vehicle’s engine and remove the used oil filter; they will then replace them with new oil matching your vehicle’s specifications and a new OEM oil filter.
Whether your tires just need a service such as a patch, rotation, or balance, or you need a new set of tires, we have the inventory and certified technicians to keep your tires in excellent condition.
Your vehicle will need regular brake fluid changes to keep the brakes working as they should; you should also have the brakes inspected regularly, which may show the need for services like brake pad replacement or brake fluid change.
