I leased my new Passat a month ago and it was one of the nicest VW experiences I have had. Having come from a family of VW owners, I’ve seen horrible service of other dealerships for years. The salesperson, Jeremy, was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure I was happy. Having relocated from out West to NJ for work, I needed to get a car right away. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money and I didn’t feel like going back and forth about fees and the monthly lease payment. A few nice touches included rubber floor mats compliments of Douglas VW, a protective weather coating, and a very clean car with the best tire shine I’ve ever seen!

I just purchased my Mazda 3 from Douglas motors and I LOVE MY NEW CAR. The service was amazing. My sales person was Steve and I cant even begin to explain how understanding and patient he was with me. I knew I wanted something comfortable for a family of 4 yet reasonably priced. Steve made me feel like it was possible….AND IT WAS. I was surprised to see how warm and welcoming a car dealership can be. Ive went to several places and nothing came close to Douglas Motors. They never left me wondering what was going on or waiting for answers. They were up front about their cars, they were up front about what would be more suitable for me and they didnt pressure me into anything I didnt like. I can honestly say that Steve wanted me to be in the RIGHT car, not just any car. I definitely would recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a new vehicle. This is one dealership that I can honestly say is considerate of their customer’s needs.

On Tuesday Jan 24, 2012, I met Irene P. a sales woman in the Special Finance department.. My credit is a little shaking and I was scare that I would not be able to get approved for a used car there. I was going to go a BUY Here Pay Here.. However, Irene worked with me for about two weeks to help me get into a 2004 VW Passat Wagon. Great Service. Definitely worth it. I’ve been taking my 2004 Jetta to Douglas for over 4 years now and they have always provided me with excellent service. However, on this last trip I was really impressed by Steve Tsekouras and the team at the service department. I had an issue with my car shaking at higher speeds and after their initial diagnosis they told me that they would need some time to figure it out. They provided me with a loaner and took the time to correctly diagnose the issue and getting it solved. It took a couple of days and a new axle, but after the service my car handles and feels excellent. I live in Hoboken and used to work in Summit. However, long after changing jobs working in New York, I still take the time to take my car to Douglas.

I am on my second VW from Douglas VW. I have a CC and Routan. Rick Szucs in the service department has been my guy for the last 4 years. He has gone above and beyond what is necessary to get me back on the road in the shortest amount of time. Rick knows my cars, knows my family and our schedule and has helped me on holidays and weekends, gotten me into loaners and has really made my down time minimal. I cannot stress enough how valuable it has been to be able to contact Rick and I know I will never have an issue. I strongly recommend Douglas, because their service department is top notch.
