I have had my car serviced by Douglas Motors for many years. Every member of the staff is friendly and professional. My service writer Rick keeps excellent track of what needs to be done on my vehicle and recommends service appropriate to the car. The car is always returned, at the time promised, in perfect order and freshly washed! I would recommend this service department to anyone.

I have just bought my 5th VW from Douglas and my 3rd from Nick Malanga. Nick was great in the past and continues to excel in providing great service. He spends time explaining the cars and the differences that really help you in making an informed decision. Everyone in the showroom was friendly and very respectful of each other (you don’t find that often). I have also used the service department for the last 25 years and my service advisor for my last 3 cars has been Dominic Romano. Dominic is great and very good at explaining what needs to be done to your car in a way a non-car person can understand. Both the service and sales department are top rate. Great Service. Definitely worth it. I’ve been taking my 2004 Jetta to Douglas for over 4 years now and they have always provided me with excellent service. However, on this last trip I was really impressed by Steve Tsekouras and the team at the service department. I had an issue with my car shaking at higher speeds and after their initial diagnosis they told me that they would need some time to figure it out. They provided me with a loaner and took the time to correctly diagnose the issue and getting it solved. It took a couple of days and a new axle, but after the service my car handles and feels excellent. I live in Hoboken and used to work in Summit. However, long after changing jobs working in New York, I still take the time to take my car to Douglas.

I am on my second VW from Douglas VW. I have a CC and Routan. Rick Szucs in the service department has been my guy for the last 4 years. He has gone above and beyond what is necessary to get me back on the road in the shortest amount of time. Rick knows my cars, knows my family and our schedule and has helped me on holidays and weekends, gotten me into loaners and has really made my down time minimal. Excellent Service Department. I called the 23 of December to see if I could get my headlight fixed during the week. I spoke to Steve Tsekouras on the phone said he would fit me in that day, even though they were about to close for the holiday. He was more worried about me getting pulled over with a headlight out than leaving a little early for the weekend. I couldn’t believe how kind he was. When I arrived I was politely greeted and they fixed my car super fast and had it washed. This is my first time at Douglas and I definitely will be back. I’ve had VW’s all my life and have never had such a pleasant time at a service department!

When we purchased my wife’s 2011 Jetta from Douglas VW last year we were in the market for a new VW home for service. Our previous experience with the service department at another VW dealership left us skeptical of how VW service was handled. Douglas VW service changed that. Our service manager Steve T. always keeps us updated and takes the time to explain whats going on with the service appointment. From the beginning Steve promised that we would have a much more positive experience at Douglas VW and he has kept his word. I usually don’t take the time to post reviews online but in this instance I would be doing anyone thinking about buying a car or having their car serviced anywhere else an extreme disservice. Douglas VW service is top notch, I won’t go anywhere else.

Douglas is a fantastic dealership. This is the second car I’ve bought from them. My first was a GTI and I just recently bought a 2012 Beetle. Both times Nick Malanga was my salesperson and he’s spectacular. He really takes the time out to listen to and answer all of your questions. The showroom is not an ultra high-pressure experience – which is extremely refreshing for a car dealership. The staff at Douglas is relaxed, but they get things done quickly and efficiently. It took less than a week for them to get the exact car I wanted to the dealership once my deposit was placed down. The service department is also great. I’m very happy with my experiences at Douglas.
