I went to douglas vw with poor credit thinking I would get turned down or would have to put a ridiculous down payment to get approved but I was wrong. My husband & I had to experience shopping for a car for our 17 year old daughter. We were confused, reluctant & nervous about this decision but when we walked into Douglas Motors Duncan Bradley made us feel at ease. He was SO patient with us & listened to our many concerns of our daughter driving a new car. We came in inquiring about the Tiguan and he agreed it would be a good fit for her & took the time(along with Irene) to reassure us we were making the right decision. Just like many we had a budget that we REALLY NEEDED to stick to & Duncan made it happen for us without a long negotiation. When the time came for my daughter to pick up her 2013 Tiguan Duncan took the time to go over EVERY aspect of the car which included her IPod hook up, very important to a teenager! Overall we were very satisfied with the treatment received by Duncan & Matt , and Irene’s input as well :)

I’m a Doulgas Volkswagen customer for over 12 years. About two and a half years ago, I had the privilege of meeting with Irene Peixoto. I had just had to say good bye to my 2000 Beetle… which was very difficult for me to do. I explained to Irene how much the beetle meant to me, and how much I truly enjoyed driving one… She was kind, caring, compassionate, and listened to my tale of woe. After that, she sprung into action. She knew I needed a new vehicle, asked me what my preferences were as far as price, style, etc. She took an entire day of her time to sit with me and go over my finances, and literally held my hand through the process. She put me into a pre-owned 2003 Black Beetle Convertible. I LOVED IT!… unfortunately, I lost it due to Hurricane Sandy. However, Irene was right on top of things when I called her to report my loss. That’s another thing about Irene… she contacts you back, day or night, during the week or weekends… she’s serious about her job and her customers. SHE CARES. We are now putting me in a Volkswagen Tiguan… I cannot believe I’m leaving the Beetle,,, but I’m excited for this new adventure. Irene takes her time with you and eases your mind and answers your questions, over and over again…. as repetitive as mine can tend to be. She does it with a smile. If you are looking for a kind, knowledgeable, funny, good natured sales person, go see Irene! You will not be disappointed! :)

My wife and I were looking to trade in our 2007 Toyota Sienna because the payments were to high. We went to 2 different dealerships with no success. Then she received a letter in the mail from Douglas VW. She brought it to my attention, and with some reluctance, I agreed to visit the place. I told her that if they can not help us, give it up. After about 20 minutes of sitting with Irene; she told us that she was not able to help us with trading in the Sienna; but she was able to get us approved for a new vehicle with low payments. This was even better because I just started a new job working nights and due to the conflict of schedule my wife and I had, we needed a second vehicle. Not only did we drive off with a 2011 Chrysler 200, they are going to assist us with getting our Sienna refinanced so the payment are lowered on that as well! I tell you Douglas VW was a Blessing in disguise!! Thanks Irene and Douglas VW for the great service, the friendly attitudes, and the fabulous new car!!!
