I have leased 2 vehicles from Douglas VW in the past few years. I will buy my third soon. The dealership is smaller in physical size but offers excellent customer service both in the sales department as well as the service department. Tito in the sales department was very helpful and knowledgable without being overly aggressive. Steve T. in the service department has helped me on a few occasions quickly and competently. If you are in the market for a VW or used vehicle, I would definitely visit here first.I have two VW dealers closer to my house, but I continue to go here and will in the future because of the excellent staff and the outstanding service they provide on a consistent basis. From the initial sale to the maintenance of your new vehicle, you are treated fairly at Douglas VW.

The service agents at Douglas Motors are amazing, considerate and service oriented. My car died while I was driving it. The engine lights lit up one right after the other, I was about 10 minutes away from Douglas Motors so I headed directly there, the engine died right across the street from the dealership! I ran across the street to the service department, It was after hours but Dominick, one of the service agents was still there, he sent someone to boost my car and bring it into the lot then had someone drive me home. My regular service agent Steve Tsekouras, called me first thing in the morning, he told me what was wrong (alternator), provided a loaner so I can get to work as well as a picked up from home, and got me back on the road that same day in time to make a scheduled flight! I can’t thank this team enough. This is my second Volkswagen from Douglas Motors and I would highly recommend them. My car is serviced at the dealership and I wouldnt think of taking it anywhere else, Steve really takes the time to explain things to me, and helps to manage all the inconveniences that often come with service appointments. I cant thank him enough.

Great Service. Definitely worth it. I’ve been taking my 2004 Jetta to Douglas for over 4 years now and they have always provided me with excellent service. However, on this last trip I was really impressed by Steve Tsekouras and the team at the service department. I had an issue with my car shaking at higher speeds and after their initial diagnosis they told me that they would need some time to figure it out. They provided me with a loaner and took the time to correctly diagnose the issue and getting it solved. It took a couple of days and a new axle, but after the service my car handles and feels excellent. I live in Hoboken and used to work in Summit. However, long after changing jobs working in New York, I still take the time to take my car to Douglas.

Excellent Service Department. I called the 23 of December to see if I could get my headlight fixed during the week. I spoke to Steve Tsekouras on the phone said he would fit me in that day, even though they were about to close for the holiday. He was more worried about me getting pulled over with a headlight out than leaving a little early for the weekend. I couldn’t believe how kind he was. When I arrived I was politely greeted and they fixed my car super fast and had it washed. This is my first time at Douglas and I definitely will be back. I’ve had VW’s all my life and have never had such a pleasant time at a service department!

When we purchased my wife’s 2011 Jetta from Douglas VW last year we were in the market for a new VW home for service. Our previous experience with the service department at another VW dealership left us skeptical of how VW service was handled. Douglas VW service changed that. Our service manager Steve T. always keeps us updated and takes the time to explain whats going on with the service appointment. From the beginning Steve promised that we would have a much more positive experience at Douglas VW and he has kept his word. I usually don’t take the time to post reviews online but in this instance I would be doing anyone thinking about buying a car or having their car serviced anywhere else an extreme disservice. Douglas VW service is top notch, I won’t go anywhere else.

I had a really excellent experience with the Service Dept. at Douglas. Steve Tsekouras helped me diagnose the problem quickly. Steve was very knowledgable and honest and helped get my repairs done very quickly. He provided excellent service as did the entire Douglas team.
