I recently purchased a 2012 Jetta Sportwagen from Douglas Motors. I’ve owned many VW’s in my life starting with a Transporter back in the seventies to the first Rabbit, to a Vanagon, a GTI, the new Rabbit/Golf and now my Jetta Swag. Needless to say I have dealt with several dealerships over the years. I’m being candid and honest when I say that my experience at Douglas was the best I have had. I have just bought my 5th VW from Douglas and my 3rd from Nick Malanga. Nick was great in the past and continues to excel in providing great service. He spends time explaining the cars and the differences that really help you in making an informed decision. Everyone in the showroom was friendly and very respectful of each other (you don’t find that often). I have also used the service department for the last 25 years and my service advisor for my last 3 cars has been Dominic Romano. Dominic is great and very good at explaining what needs to be done to your car in a way a non-car person can understand. Both the service and sales department are top rate. Thanks Nick and Dominic!!!!!!!

Douglas is a fantastic dealership. This is the second car I’ve bought from them. My first was a GTI and I just recently bought a 2012 Beetle. Both times Nick Malanga was my salesperson and he’s spectacular. He really takes the time out to listen to and answer all of your questions. The showroom is not an ultra high-pressure experience – which is extremely refreshing for a car dealership. The staff at Douglas is relaxed, but they get things done quickly and efficiently. It took less than a week for them to get the exact car I wanted to the dealership once my deposit was placed down. The service department is also great. I’m very happy with my experiences at Douglas. If you’re in Northern New Jersey and looking for a VW, check them out.
