Drove down from upstate NY to buy pre-owned gti sight unseen. Car was everthing I expected. Vlad was great – professional and friendly – gave a a very polished presentation of the car. Matt helped me through all the paperwork. I really enjoyed the whole experience.

By far, this was the best car purchase experience we have had in all our cars/SUVs/minivans etc. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and Vlad was a wonderful salesperson to work with for this transaction. Once he recognized that we knew EXACTLY what we were looking for, he set out to not only suggest test driving a car similar to the car we were interested in (Gof TDI diesel, as the Jetta TDI diesel was not available on the lot) but also suggested the Jetta SEL 5-speed, which is what we wound up selecting. Once we started the paperwork, the process was expedited through, with all the staff attentive to us and ensuring we were happy. Matt in finance was thorough and concise in his explanations of what were were signing, Curt inquired if we were satisfied with our sales experience with Vlad (which we were – he’s the right mix of salesperson and outgoing/approachable personality).

My family had purchased cars from the Douglas family when I was a child, and I remember the staff being friendly – apparently that characteristic has not changed over the years.

This was a pleasant experience, and I look forward to working with Douglas for routine service on the car.

My salesman Timothy was truly wonderful. He listened to my needs and helped me pick out the right option packages. When I asked about a particular color combination that they did not have in stock he tracked it down at another dealership for me. He was extremely knowledgable and his passion for VW was apparent through out the entire process and may have even rubbed off a bit on me :-). I would recommend Timothy and Douglas VW to anyone looking for a new car who wants an honest salesman who believes in what he sells. Matt also helped when it came time to sign all the paperwork, he was very nice and pleasant and answered all of my questions to make sure I understood everything involved. I left with the feeling that I was genuinely taken care of.

Overall it was a great experience buying a used car at this dealership. My wife wanted a used New Beetle, and that too Sunflower Yellow color, searched online and found Douglas VW is one of the few dealers that has the car that we were looking for. I Got a quote online, spoke to Bob Cerza on the phone and he was very honest and upfront about the car and the price and how long it has been sitting in the dealers lot and answered all the questions that we had. There was no pressure and I would definetly recommend this dealership and especially Bob Cerza.

This was my 3rd time with Douglas as a dealer choice and I did not come away from it with any negativity. Vlad and Mathew in finance and Kurt the General Manager were an invaluable asset to brokering the deal every step of the way.

I have not had a bad moment at any time with anyone at this dealer. Every single person that we have had contact with have always been polite,knowledgeable and blatantly honest throughout our dealings. My wife is easily flustered these days as she is pregnant, but Vlad and the team put her at ease and made us feel very comfortable with our purchase.
