Check out the photos below of a 1000 HP VW GTI. It’s owned by Jeff Clark of the Douglas VW Parts Department. It needs to be seen to be believed…..
- Inside the car will be just the bare essentials, the usual race seat, harness, various gauges and of course a mile of monkey bars to keep Jeffrey protected.
- Modifications will include a set of 83mm JE pistons, Integrated Engineering Tuscan rods with an Autronic SM4 as the brains of the operation.
- A look at the bell mouths.
- Under the bonnet the original 2.0l donk has been replaced with a 1.8l 20V that will produce over 1000hp at the front wheels. Yes, 1000hp from a 1.8l.
- Jeff’s GTI features a large Precision 7585 turbo and an air-to-air intercooler. It also showcases one of FFEs custom intake manifolds as seen here in progress
- Originally an average 2.0fsi model with a flash new paint job and R32 kit. Forcefed Engineering have been put in charge of turning the car into an all-out beast.
