In the late summer/early fall of October ’09 I desperately needed & wanted to find a 2010 Vw Golf 5 speed “no frills” in “dark gray”. I live in Budd Lake. I had been in touch with every VW dealer in North Jersey & then I got the call; on a Wednsday night. They, (Douglas Motors) got one in. I think it was the 1st one in the country that fall. I test drove it Thursday morning; put a down payment on it & “drove it away” on Saturday, October 10th, 2009. I’m very grateful for all their professional & excellent help; from the initial purchase, ($400.- off list – no one else even mentioned the possibility), to the purchase of a 100K bumper to bumper warranty on the car. Everyone at the dealership is very helpful, from my personal service rep, Domonic, all the parts guys, Rich, the finance/paperwork guy & even the General Manager; with whom I’m already working on my “upgrade” when I hit 100K.
